Joseba Ormaetxea holds a BSc degree in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology from Universitat Autónoma de Barcelona (2021). He obtained a Double MSc degree in Solar Cell Systems and Materials by Danmarks Tekniske Universitet (DTU) and Norges Teknisk-Naturvitenskapelige Universitet (NTNU) in 2023.
He began his job career in the Photovoltaic Systems platform of TECNALIA R&I in 2023. His participation in the various projects of the group is focused on the development, manufacture, and optoelectronic characterization of PV modules of varying nature and the characterization of PV cells of different technologies. He is also experienced in the execution of various scientific projects, as he has collaborated in interdisciplinary research activities of companies and institutions such as Microliquid S.L., the Centro Nacional de Microelectrónica – Instituto de Microelectrónica de Barcelona (CNM-IMB), Teknologisk Institut (DTI) and DTU Nanolab, including work carried out in cleanroom environments.
