Juan Palacios Taubmann, Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering (Metallurgy) by the University of Basque Country (UPV) at the University School of Bilbao's Technical Industrial Engineering, (1994).

Began working at the LABEIN mechanics Department in 1999,and currently belongs to Manufacturing Process and Materials (PROMAT) group in the Inudstry and Movility Unit of TECNALIA. 

I have participated in multiple research national and international projects related to steel-making processes from continuous casting, secondary metallurgy and reheating furnace, making use of CFD modelling tools (Computational Fluid Dynamics) and FEM, models of water and analytical calculations; as well as in the development of predictive software for modelling of continuous casting steel and reheating furnaces; and heat transfer, stress-strain and dynamical analysis in general projects.
