Industrial Engineer from the University of Navarra and PhD in Industrial Engineering from the UPV-EHU. Juanjo Zulaika has supervised a PhD thesis in the field of energy dissipation modelling in machine tools, has three publications in indexed journals of the first quartile in manufacturing engineering and has been general coordinator of three European projects: one of FP6 on the design of low-rigidity drives, another of FP7 on new machine concepts and another of Clean Sky on a test bench for electromechanical actuators. He has also coordinated both industrial projects with machine manufacturers in the field of high dynamic machine design, design of critical components and experimental analysis of mechanical systems and strategic projects in the field of simulation of the thermal and dynamic behavior of manufacturing media using hybrid models.
