Laura Pérez Salazar received the (DipHE) Industrial Technical Engineering Degree (Mechanical Speciality) in Bilbao – 2005, and the (PGCert) Mechanical Engineering degree in Bilbao – 2013. Both of them from the University of Basque Country. She also received the Master’s Degree “BIM applied to Civil Engineering” from Structuralia in 2020.

She has been carrying out activities, complementary to his major activities, as Senior Technician in Occupational Risk Prevention since 2008 (specialties Occupational Safety, Ergonomics and Applied Psychosociology and Industrial Hygiene).

Laura Pérez started her professional career with Labein in 2004, developing inspection, study and buildings monitoring works. Since then, she has been involved in multiple projects related to pathology and rehabilitation, including buildings as well as infrastructures.

The following scopes can be highlighted among his main professional responsibilities: several projects elaboration, management, and planning in the pathology and structural rehabilitation field, including tasks as the pathological study and diagnosis of different structures and their incorporation of the BIM methodology.
