Industrial Engineer by the Basque Country University and Master in Production Plants Management by the Catalonia Polytechnic university and Master in Energy Efficiency in Industry by the SPRI and UPV, works in Tecnalia as Project manager.

Experience:

15 years on Industrial Manufacturing companies of which over 10 years as Project Manager on Automation of Production Lines on automotive industry in Sweden, USA, UK, France, India and China, leading work teams and managing projects.

18 years working on R&D activities: as Engineering Manager and Project manager with a large experience on research projects being Internal manager and WP manager of numerous Basque, Spanish and European projects.

In European R&D projects, has participated on 21 projects:

7 FP7 European projects ALICIA, EGOGEM, EMERALD, INGRID. KAP and VFF on the FOF domain;

10 H2020 projects (ICP4LIFE, SCORPIUS, MARKET4.0, DIMOFAC, PENELOPE, DIGIPRIME, MAS4AI, AIREGIO, and CONNECTED FACTORIES 1&2);

4 HORIZON EUROPE projects (OPENZDM, CIRC TWAIN, AIRISE, ADMATRANS4MERS).

He is a specialist on automation and simulation, has worked on the implementation of digital and AI based solutions in industrial scenarios, both physical and virtual (in simulation and optimization tools).
