Bachelor in Physics at the Basque Country University (EHU (specializing in Electronics and Automation) and master's degree in Computer Security Engineering and Artificial Intelligence by URV. With more than twenty years working experience in TECNALIA, she develops her work activity participating in different R&D Programmes at national and European level in the fields of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Cybersecurity, applying both machine learning and optimization methods based on evolutionary or bio-inspired algorithms. For instance, she has been heavy involved in research projects such as NCIS, BSCI4.0, Mak21, illuMINEation, AI4CYBER, SecureWorld, SUCESO, subprogram 7 - Safair of the European Sparta program, Autorisk, TACIT, FM-BIASED and MUSA among others. She currently teaches the subject "Information security and malware analysis" in the master’s degree of Cybersecurity in Industry 4.0 taught at the UPV/EHU. She has also given talks on cybersecurity and AI at the UCAV and other relevant Spanish forums.
