Bachelor in Chemistry (University of the Basque Country, 2006) and PhD in Chemistry (University of the Basque Country, 2011), title of the thesis “Novel nanocomposites manufactured by dispersion of carbon nanotubes in thermostable polymers: characterization, properties and applications”. She joined TECNALIA (former INASMET) in 2006, in the Department of Plastics and Composites. She has more than 18 years of experience in research projects related to materials science and specifically to nanocomposite materials. Her main research activities deal with the development of nanoreinforced thermosetting matrices and fiber composites, and characterization of rheological, mechanical, thermal and electrical properties. Since 2011 she has been specialized in the development of carbon nanotube Buckypapers for several industrial applications in aeronautical, transport and energy sectors. She has participated in more than 20 national and international R&D projects, and she is author or co-author of more than 15 scientific publications, around 25 contributions in conferences, and 3 patent applications. She is also an occasional reviewer in international journals.
