Personal profile
ShortBio
I received the B.S. in Mathematics and the M.S. in Computational Engineering and Intelligent Systems from the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU), in 2014 and 2016, respectively. I obtained the PhD on Computer Engineering (Cum Laude) with international mention from the UPV/EHU in 2022. During autumn 2021, I was a visiting PhD student in Luleå University of Technology (LTU) in Luleå (Sweden).
I joined Tecnalia in 2016 and since then, I work as a Data Science Researcher. My activity has been focused on developing intelligent solutions, mainly in advanced manufacturing processes, steel and food industries using Artificial Intelligence techniques. My research lines include Operations Research, Combinatorial Optimization and Machine Learning applications to industrial problems. I have participated in the development of local, national and European research projects. I have published several scientific works in international journals and conferences and co-supervised five bachelor’s and master’s thesis.
