Personal profile
ShortBio
Graduate in Physical Sciences (University of the Basque Country). Master in Robotics and Automation from the Higher Technical School of Industrial Engineers of Bilbao.
Project Director of the Transportation and Mobility Unit in TECNALIA.
I have participated in multiple research projects for more than 30 years, both nationally and internationally, related to different industrial sectors. In them I have acted both as project director and addressing research activities.
My current research areas are focused on the field of cybersecurity technologies, especially those related to industrial systems, addressing aspects of Cyberintelligence, Privacy Preserving Computation or Distributed Ledger Technologies among others.
Previously I have worked on the topic of the Internet of Things, working with technologies to facilitate both the automatic acquisition of data, as well as its processing and analysis through the use of Artificial Intelligence for different industrial segments (mainly transport, logistics and retail), helping to address two doctoral theses.
Throughout my career, I have participated in different associations and technology platforms in the field of cybersecurity and industry, being, for example, a member of several ECSO working groups, or being part of the Steering Committee of the Spanish Logistics Technology Platform (LOGISTOP) and the Mobility and Logistics Cluster of Euskadi (mlc-ITS Euskadi). Here, I collaborate in the definition of strategic innovation agendas or in the promotion and generation of R&D projects in their different areas of action.
