Personal profile
ShortBio
Doctor of Architecture (Ph.D.) (UPM-ETSAM - Urban Regeneration and Sustainability), GIS Analyst (UPV-CFP), and Master in Urban Studies (UPM-ETSAM), with professional experience in the technology industry in roles ranging from GIS Analyst and Digital Transformation Specialist to Urban Data Scientist, reaching senior and leadership positions.
I transitioned into the technology industry from the academic field of urban studies, driven by an interest in studying the built environment through data science. My recent professional experience focuses on industry-applied research and development, oriented toward the energy, climate, and urban transition, specifically within digital twin environments built upon diverse technologies. Previously, I held positions centered on producing indicators for urban planning, environmental, and real estate decision-making. This involved the design and operational deployment of metrics on scalable architectures, utilizing inputs from a broad spectrum of data sources. In my more academic capacity, I study the complex dynamics of active mobility and the proximity city using transport models, network analysis, and machine learning
