Dr. Manuel Montejo is the Chief Scientific Officer of the Health Unit of TECNALIA. He received his Bachelor in Physics Science (1995) at the University of the Basque Country and his Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics at the Barcelona University(1999). With more than 20 years of experience Dr. Montejo has led multiple R&D and technology transfer projects, IDEKO (2004-2007), FATRONIK (2007-2010), and later TECNALIA. From 2011, he led the e-Health department at TECNALIA and became the CTO of the Health Division in 2016. Dr. Montejo is author of several scientific publications and patents, and he has experience in a wide range of technologies, its applications for the medical sector and the management of intellectual property.
