Personal profile
ShortBio
Master in Industrial Engineering, specialising in mechanics, from the Higher Technical School of Industrial Engineers of Bilbao. Expert in business management and technology from Deusto Business School and responsible for different UTEs (temporary consortia) in projects for administrations. He is currently a project manager at Tecnalia and responsible for asset development strategies in the area of environment and sustainability and previously Director of the Urban and Territorial Sustainability area. With more than 30 years of experience in the environment, I have worked as a technical and project manager in the sectors of acoustics, air quality, environmental management, climate change and geographic information systems. Author of articles published in technical and scientific journals, and participant in conferences, as well as trainer in training courses and University Masters in companies and administrations. Development of numerous acoustic impact assessment projects and design of transport infrastructure solutions for infrastructure managers and new products for noise mitigation in transport infrastructures on both roads and railways. Of particular note is the invention of a patent for a self-supporting acoustic shielding system and the development of a low-height acoustic barrier for railways. He is the author or participant in publications related to infrastructure noise management and anti-noise solutions and a member of Commission 135, Subcommission 6 of AENOR on noise-reducing devices since 1995.
