Degree in Chemical Sciences from the UPV-EHU (1999), Master's degree in Occupational Risk Prevention (2001) and Master's degree in Environmental Auditing and Business Environmental Planning (2002). She currently works as a project manager in the BIOCO2H group within the Circularity area at TECNALIA. Her professional experience has been closely linked to the environmental sector. From 2006 to 2023 she was Environmental Control laboratory manager at TECNALIA (formerly LEIA C.D.T.), one of her tasks was providing technical advice to companies from different sectors on environmental matters (including water treatment and characterization, waste recovery, minimization of atmospheric emissions...), as well as to public administrations (IHOBE, GV). Previously, she was laboratory quality manager (2000-2006) and technical manager for ENAC accreditation in the environmental field.
She has wide experience in the characterization of organic and inorganic pollutants in all types of water (drinking water, wastewater, surface and groundwater), waste and sampling media, as well as in the validation of analytical methods and quality assurance. She has comprehensive knowledge of key environmental regulations and their applicability. The main research lines of the projects she currently manages focus on the recovery of water and valuable products from different types of waste, CO₂ capture and valorization, and process intensification.
