Personal profile
ShortBio
María José López has been a senior researcher in the R&D area at Tecnalia since 2003, where she initially strengthened her experience in the area of reuse and variability by participating in several research projects. These projects covered topics such as reuse, embedded systems, open source, accessibility, process and product certification (both proprietary and open source), and software product lines, carried out in collaboration with other private and public organizations. She belongs to the ICT/ESI division, participating in projects and initiatives related to the efficient and secure deployment of IoT (Internet of Things) and CPS (Cyber Physical Systems). She is involved in activities related to systems, methodologies, and tools to increase productivity. She has collaborated with the "Cloud Technologies" area on a project about multi-cloud applications with a DevOps approach. Currently, she is involved in HPA platform projects related to the creation of personal data platforms with mechanisms to ensure their privacy and security, the definition and development of a platform for the provision of advanced sustainable mobility infrastructures and services, decision-making in the field of urban transformation using disruptive technologies and a participatory approach, and the management and control of data sharing by the owner in a secure manner based on a series of policies, as well as aspects related to data quality.
She holds a degree in Computer Science from the Faculty of Computer Science of San Sebastián (University of the Basque Country - U.P.V/E.H.U.). She has a Master's in Computer Architecture and Technology, Software Engineering (University of the Basque Country - U.P.V/E.H.U.). She also holds a Master's in Computational Engineering and Mathematics (Open University of Catalonia and Rovira i Virgili University).
