Dr. Bianchi holds a PhD in Applied Economics from the University of the Basque Country (Spain) and a Master's degree in Resource Economics and Sustainable Development from the University of Bologna (Italy). In 2016, he joined TECNALIA’s Circular Economy platform. As a quantitative economist, he primarily leads research focused on modeling and evaluating the territorial dynamics that drive transitions towards more sustainable socioeconomic models, with a particular emphasis on the circular economy. He is an expert in econometric methods, including panel data and spatial regression analysis, and in project evaluation tools such as life cycle costing, technoeconomic analysis, socioeconomic analysis, and cost-benefit analysis.
