Maria Angeles Gutierrez Garcia, PhD.

Degree in Mathematics from the University of the Basque Country and PhD from the Department of Applied Mathematics of the School of Industrial Engineering of the University of the Basque Country, UPV-EHU.
of the University of the Basque Country, UPV-EHU.  She has 30 years of experience in R&D, having been responsible for technology in the metal forming area of the Labein technology center, managing and developing R&D related to metal forming and its application and transfer to the automotive sector until 2011. In 2011 she joined TECNALIA VENTURES where she has been linked to the valorization and industrial property of the Industry and Mobility Unit, assuming the integral management of the industrial property, the portfolio of assets and its commercialization strategies. She has more than 30 publications in international journals, has directed several doctoral theses, is co-inventor in several patents, has organized international conferences, led European projects in the automotive field and participated in the creation of several start-ups and licensing processes of technological assets.
