Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Deusto (1989) and MSc. in Telecommunications and Information Systems from the University of Essex, UK (1990).
Initially at the ROBOTIKER Technology Center (1992-2011), and later at TECNALIA (2011-2022), she has participated in numerous applied research projects, both national and European, mainly related to the application of information and communication technologies to different technological areas, including: the design, development, and validation of embedded software for telecommunications equipment and systems (ISDN, IP, SNMP); the design, development, and deployment of specialized information management platforms; monitoring and capturing content from social networks; indoor localization systems; advanced web platforms; and, in general, user-centered digital service platforms.
Her most notable activities in European projects include: technical coordination of the European FP7-ICT project “mCIUDAD - A Metropolis of Ubiquitous Services” (2007-2010); participation in the European FP7-Galileo project “MUGGES – Mobile User Generated Geo-Services” (2009-2011); participation in the European FP7-Security project “Alert for All” (2011-2013). At the national level, her participation in strategic projects stands out, such as: the project “mIO! – Technologies for the provision of mobility services in the future intelligent universe” (2008-2012); and the project “ARQUEOPTERIX – Improvement of the user experience quality in online multimedia applications” (2015-2018).
Currently, her main activity is the direction and technical management of contract projects aimed at designing, developing, and deploying advanced digital solutions to support the digital transformation of businesses and processes in various vertical markets (agriculture, sports, energy, etc.).
