Personal profile
ShortBio
She got a Bachelor of Telecommunication engineer (MSc) at the University of the Basque Country (UPV) (Bilbao, Spain).
Since 2022 she is Digital Lab Services Area Director. She has more than 15 years of experience in the services and projects related with the quality assurance of Smart Grids equipment, helping DSOs and Smart grid product manufacturer speeding up the digitalization of the Smart grid new deployment. Se has deep knowledge in Smart Grid products certification and standardization in the LAB SERVICES division in TECNALIA, which is involved primarily in the conformity assessment of products according to European and International Standards. In consequence, she has developed a deep knowledge of the processes of standardization and how standards play a role in the development of new and innovative products. She has an extensive experience in designing specification, testing procedures, setups for new laboratories to design the system and define the requirements for the products.
Her areas of expertise are:
- Expert on standardisation mainly in Smart Grid equipment specification and evaluation
- Certification of Smart Grids products, including their communication protocols, functionalilty and cibersecurity
- Certification of electric and electronic products
- Creating new laboratories and development of testing tools for communication protocols, Smart Grids functionalilty and cybersecurity evaluation.
- Helping DSOs to assure the interoperability and cybersecurity of their Smart Grid equipment, and helping DSOs to speed up the digitalization and modernization of their Smart Grid new deployments.
