Dr. Miguel Ángel Antón is a Senior Researcher and Project Manager at TECNALIA within the Digital Construction department. He holds a PhD in Electronics and Communications from the University of Navarra (2009) and a degree in Industrial Electronic and Automatic Engineering (2004). He has more than 15 years of experience in R&D and technology transfer projects. He has participated in 6 European research projects and more than 20 research contracts with private companies. His research fields are the Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) applied to the generation of cognitive systems in the built environment and to the intelligent management of buildings, infrastructures and cities. More than 10 peer-reviewed scientific publications, co-director of a doctoral thesis and director of 3 master's theses.
