Ph.D. Eng. Mikel Casuso holds a PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of the Basque Country – UPV/EHU (2023); as well as a graduate in Industrial Technology Engineering (2014) and Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Tecnun - University of Navarra (2016); and Master’s degree in History and Philosophy of Science from the National University of Distance Education - UNED (2021). He has been a Schuman Fellow at the Committee on Industry, Research and Energy of the European Parliament in Brussels (2016-2017). He is currently working at Tecnalia, in the area of means of production and robotics. His main line of study is the milling of aeronautical parts, especially the challenges posed by low stiffness aluminum parts.
