Personal profile

ShortBio

Degree in Chemical Sciences from the Faculty of the University of the Basque Country (UPV) in 1996. Expertise related to corrosion and electrochemistry. Researcher specialized in the study of the behavior against corrosion of metallic materials, mainly for the Oil & Gas sector and the chemical industry.

Specialist in high pressure and temperature corrosion techniques (HPHT) and analyzing the different corrosion mechanisms such as localized corrosion (pitting, crevice, etc.) that metallic materials suffer under different service conditions (Oil & Gas). Management of specialized simulation software (OLI) used in the sector to simulate real service conditions.

Extensive knowledge in electrochemistry at the Laboratory level and interpretation of results to determine and predict parameters such as the rate of corrosion, pitting potential or efficiency evaluation of corrosion inhibitors using electrochemical techniques.
