Materials Engineer by the University of Navarra Engineering School since 2006. That same year, he joined the Foundry and Steelmaking department at Tecnalia, focusing this work on the development of metal matrix composites through liquid routes, he development and optimization of casting processes for both ferrous and non-ferrous alloys, as well as the development of lightweight alloys (mainly aluminum and magnesium) with improved properties for various applications. Currently, he is part of the CIRMETAL team and has been working for several years on optimising the valorisation processes of metallic solid wastes and battery recycling. Over these 18 years, he has participated in numerous R&D&i projects, both national and European, taking also on management tasks in some of them. He is the author of several relevant scientific publications, a reviewer for various indexed scientific journals, and has participated as a speaker at several international conferences.
