She received the degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2003 from Tecnun. In 2004 she joined the calculation and design department of Tecnalia (previously Inasmet), and in 2011 she joined the composite materials department where she has participated in different research projects, both national and European. The main industrial sectors of the projects are automotive, railway and aeronautics. Her specialization field is related to the manufacturing processes of components and structures in composite material, addressing different manufacturing technologies such as autoclave, infusion or RTM. She has worked on repair projects for composite material structures that range from damage detection to repair through the application of thermal or ultraviolet curing patches. She also has knowledge in other technologies for repairing composite material structures such as induction welding or welding using resistive heating.
