Research Engineer at TECNALIA (formerly LABEIN) in the Industry and Mobility Unit since 2001. She actively participates in several national and European R&D projects (e.g. HYINHEAT, CIRMET, FITGEN, SIDERWIN, AUSINOX, MESALIQ, TASIO, MP-UMBIL, IERO, DACINOX, INHORCU, TRANSIENT, ACTUM, HORNO TUNEL, DAMAC, ULCOS, JAKINOGI, BOMBA J4, EMBUCHA, NFSC).  Her expertise focuses on steelmaking processes from secondary metallurgy to continuous casting, using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) modelling tools, water models and analytical calculations; as well as in the development of predictive software for steel continuous casting modelling; and in the heat transfer and fluid dynamics analysis projects in other fields (automotive, industrial bread ovens). She is author or co-author of several technical papers, and co-author of 1 national patent for Equipment for testing fire safety by means of clean hot smoke.

Since 2024 she has been a member of the R&D PROGRAMS team, participating in the preparation of R&D projects in Horizon Europe, local and national calls for proposals. However, she continues to work as part-time Researcher with the Smart, Efficient and Sustainable Metalworking Processes platform, within the Manufacturing Processes and Materials area.
