Ms. Natalia Lasarte (F). Industrial Engineer (1998), Project Management Professional Certificate (PMP) in Project Management Institute (2015) and Master in Construction Management by Zigurat (2020-2021). After working in other companies as structural engineer and construction project manager, she joined TECNALIA in 2002. She currently works as Project Manager in the Energy, Climate and Urban Transition Unity.  She works as Senior Researcher, developing projects in the field of inspection and maintenance (reactive and preventive) of buildings&infrastructures, building renovation, energy retrofitting, developments of new constructive solutions , structural assessment and strengthening, as well as in the automation and digitalisation of the Inspection&Maintenance and construction processes. She has participated in several national and international research projects , included international cooperation projects in Ecuador and Cuba, related to risk management and protection of cultural heritage.

She has coordinated the H2020 project BERTIM (Building Energy Renovation through Timber Prefabricated Modules) , and participated also as Project Manager in H2020 Projects such as RenoZEB , BIM4REn, ENSNARE and BEEYONDERS,  whereas has also technically involved in the developments related to the aforementioned. fields . She has also managed several regional research projects with Basque companies in the framework of the Hazitek programme funded by SPRI (FEDER). Currently she teaches in the Master in Construction Engineering at the University of the Basque Country related to pathology assessment, rehabilitation and structural strengthening. She has published several scientific papers,  mainly related to the automation of the  construction process.
