Personal profile
ShortBio
Dr. Oihane Echeverria Altuna holds a degree in Chemical Engineering (2017) and a Master’s in Renewable Materials Engineering (2018). Between 2018 and 2022, she conducted her doctoral research at TECNALIA, as part of the Basque Research and Technology Alliance (BRTA), in collaboration with the ‘Materials + Technologies’ (GMT) Group at UPV/EHU. Her research focuses on two main areas within the field of sustainable polymers and composites: (1) the development of new bio-based resins for structural applications, including chemical modifications to enhance recyclability and circularity, and (2) the synthesis of bio-based polymers using advanced emulsion and miniemulsion techniques.
