Graduated in Computer Engineering from the University of Deusto Bilbao in 2008, and studying since 2019 a PhD on Computer Vision applying Deep Learning techniques at the University of Navarra. Currently, and since 2011, he is a researcher in the DIGITAL division of Tecnalia within the Visual Core research group. He has developed different local, state and European projects on, Augmented/Mixed Reality, Virtual Reality, Visual Computing, understanding the 3D environment and web platforms, in areas such as Industry 4.0, the digitization of the electricity sector, the digital challenges of cultural and creative industries, etc. Thanks to his work at Tecnalia, he has published in international journals and congresses, has given several courses/trainings and has obtained a patent.. Before joining TECNALIA, he worked as a Researcher at DeustoTech, the research institute of the University of Deusto, creating mobile solutions for eHealth; and later as a technology consultant in innovation projects for Public Administrations. From 2016 to 2020 he also worked as an associate professor at ESIC Business & Marketing School University, in postgraduate courses aimed at professionals related to Virtual and Augmented Reality applied to Industry 4.0 and digital business.
