Patxi Hernandez is an Energy Engineer from the University of the Basque Country and holds a PhD in Architecture and Engineering from University College Dublin, where he specialized in life cycle energy performance evaluation.
Throughout his career, he has developed extensive expertise as a researcher and consultant in energy performance and sustainability assessment, working across academia, the public sector, and private consultancy. His work focuses on the construction and energy sectors, emphasizing innovative solutions to advance sustainability.
Since 2010, Patxi has been working at TECNALIA Research & Innovation in Energy Planning. He provides strategic support and guidance to public authorities and private companies, helping them evaluate energy transition strategies and develop actionable implementation plans.
