Researcher at TECNALIA within the production & Robotics area of the Industry & Mobility Division. Research focused on metallic coatings with high resistance to abrasion and corrosion fabricated by Powder-fed Directed Energy Deposition. Also working on WAAM (Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing) technology as well as BAAM (Big Area Additive Manufacturing) technology by extrusion of large, high-performance thermoplastic components for high temperature applications. Degree and master’s degree in mechanical engineering by the University of the Basque Country (UPV / EHU). PhD on Hybrid Manufacturing combining additive and subtractive processes within the European project PARADDISE.
