Industrial Engineer (2000) at the University of the Basque Country. Since 2001, she has been working as a Senior Researcher at TECNALIA. With extensive experience as a technical project manager in defining structural solutions, conservation, and maintenance for the improvement and use of buildings affected by pathological problems in structural, material, envelope, installations, etc. areas. She has been a BIM Manager since 2018 and has integrated this methodology at the level of process and applied tools levels in all phases of the lifecycle of buildings and infrastructures within the framework of local, national, and international projects developed by Tecnalia. Since 2018, she has been the Scientific Head of KUBIK, which has a Digital Twin oriented to the management and maintenance of buildings where she performs Digital Twin Manager tasks, connecting different Digital technologies such as IoT, Building Control Systems, etc. with BIM models and coordinating the various experiments developed. She also has extensive experience in geographic information system (GIS) projects, developing tasks related to vulnerability analysis of urban environments in the field of integrated urban rehabilitation and regeneration and climate change. She has been a professor in the construction master’s program at the University of the Basque Country since 2010 and is the author of several works presented at high-impact international conferences and journals. Since 2018, she has participated as a Mentor in the InspiraSteam initiative promoted by the University of Deusto to encourage scientific and technological vocations among girls using group Mentoring to promote STEAM.
