Saioa Saenz de Urturi Ugarte
Senior Technician in Corrosion. Training in Analysis and Control at I.E.F.P.S. Don Bosco and at the company Fundación Inasmet in the Corrosion Center (Donostia) in 2004.
Since 2004, she has developed her professional work at TECNALIA R&I, being part of the Materials for Extreme Conditions Platform in the Materials and Processes Area.
She has more than 20 years of experience in the execution and management of projects related to corrosion and protection treatments, as well as the evaluation of materials and protection systems through corrosion tests, and characterization of paints and coatings. Expert in regulations in the field of corrosion and industrial coatings. She collaborates in the Quality Control of the Testing Laboratory, being Responsible for the ENAC accreditation of some of the tests included in the scope No. 4/LE063 corresponding to "Metallic Materials" and "Paints and Coatings" and NADCAP.
She holds the NACE (National Association of Corrosion Engineers) accreditation as a Coatings Inspector level 2 (CIP2).
