Graduated in Chemical Sciences from the Faculty of Chemistry of San Sebastián (u.p.v/e.h.u.) in June 1995. I completed the 4th year within the Erasmus program at the University of Bordeaux. Ph.D. in Chemical Sciences in June 2000, from the Faculty of Chemistry of San Sebastián (u.p.v./e.h.u.) in the topic of conductive polymers. During this period, I spent 3 months at the University of British Columbia (Vancouver) with a grant from the M.E.C.

Responsible of the research PVC compounds line at the Aiscondel-Monzón company (currently Ercros group) from March 2001 to December 2008. From January 2009 to the present, senior researcher at Tecnalia technological center (initially, Cidemco). During this time, I have worked on issues related to improving the fire behavior (reaction and resistance) of different materials and products, as well as the recovery of different waste in polymeric matrices. I have participated and leadered different regional, national and international research projects.
