Graduate in Chemistry (2002), and Ph.D. in Chemistry (2009) from the University of the Basque Country, (Spain). Master in Occupational Risk Prevention in the 3 Prevention specialties (Workplace Safety, Occupational Health and Ergonomics and Applied Psychosociology (2009) and PMP (Project Management Professional) certification (2020). Responsible for Quality, Environment and Prevention in the Environmental Laboratory of the LEIA CDT Foundation from 2005 to 2010. Since 2011 she works as manager of R&D projects and being Head of the Sustainable Chemistry group of ​​Materials and processes Area in TECNALIA Research & Innovation, Basque Research and Technology Alliance (BRTA). She counts with experience in project management of regional, national and European research and Innovation collaborative projects in the field of synthesis of biomass-derived chemicals, CO2 capture and uses, gas cleaning and water treatments. She is member of the Spanish CO2 technology platform (PTECO2), the Spanish biomass technology platform (BIOPLAT) and the European Bio-based Industries Consortium (BIC) and author and co-author of several publications, patents and communications to national and international congresses.
