B.S. Degree in Telecommunication Engineering from ETSII and Telecom. of the Universidad del Pais Vasco (EHU-UPV), Bilbao in 1994. She has finished the first cycle of the PhD in 2005 at Advanced studies in electronic technology. She has accomplished the Expert Programme on Business and Technology Management at Deusto Business School, University of Deusto.
She works in TECNALIA (former ROBOTIKER) since 1995. She was responsible of the KET for Embedded Electronic Systems, Power Electronics and its Control. At present, she is responsible of the platform for the Digitization of equipment for the electrical grid of the Energy, Climate and Urban Transition Unit.
Her professional experience has been developed in the field of electronic design, communications, design and control of converters mainly applied to Energy field. She has participated in and coordinated numerous research projects, public and private, national and European, focused on the development of electronic product and power converters and the application of superconductivity to wind turbine generators among others. With respect to the coordination, it is outstanding that she has been the leader of the european project SUPRAPOWER. She has presented written contributions at several national and international congress and has published an article in an IEEE journal.
