Valentín Collado Jimenez

Valentín Collado works as Senior Project Manager at the Advanced Manufacturing group of TECNALIA. Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Navarra. More than 25 years of experience in R&D and technology transfer projects in the Industrial Manufacturing sector. He has participated in 10 international research projects (coordinating 4 of them), 25 national or regional public funded R&D projects and more than 20 research contracts with private companies. His research interests are focused on the development of innovative production, automation, and robotic systems with the aim of increasing industrial manufacturing processes efficiency, quality, productivity and ergonomics. He works in close contact with the machinery and robotics manufacturing industry as well as with many of its user sectors carrying out developments that allow them to increase their competitiveness. 20+ articles and conference proceedings in his research field, 6 of them ISI indexed, and 13 patents.
