Valentín Sánchez, Bachelor of Science from UPV-EHU, specializing in Physical Sciences, has over 30 years of experience in Information Technologies. He is currently a researcher in the Operational Unit DIGITAL at TECNALIA RESEARCH & INNOVATION, participating as a project manager in projects related to data management and governance with the aim of developing and deploying analytical models based on data sharing between different companies. Notable projects in this area include DataVaults, which aims to develop an environment for the management and commercialization of personal data while respecting data sovereignty; Platoon, which focuses on developing analytical tools for the energy sector based on data sharing between different companies and utilizing IDS architecture; and more recently, DATES, which has defined the so-called European Data Space in Tourism, and DATAMITE, which is defining and implementing a technological framework for the creation and sharing of data products.
