The organization of the global meeting 10th World Congress on Electrical Engineering and Computer Systems and Science, together with International ASET Inc., has recognized the work of Verónica Mora Sanz by awarding her the Best Paper Award for the article titled "Enzyme activity monitoring in industrial solid-state fermentation processes based on colorimetric LoC compatible with R2R fabrication", framed within the NextGenMicrofluidics project.

NextGenMicrofluidics is developing a platform for large-scale production of NES and NEM, combining polymer sheet technology with classical methods such as injection molding and high-resolution biomolecule printing.
