We have received at the ICCV 2021 congress the Helmholtz Prize for the paper "HMDB: A large video database for human motion recognition" in which our colleague Dr. Estíbaliz Garrote, head of the KET Computer Vision & Visual Interaction, has participated. In addition to our colleague, H. Kuehne, Goethe University; H. Jhuang; T. Poggio, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT); T. Serre, Brown University have participated in the elaboration of the paper. The prestigious award recognizes the impact caused by the paper "HMDB: A large video database for human motion recognition" in computer vision, with more than 1,500 citations so far. ICCV is one of the leading international Computer Vision events comprising the main conference and several co-located workshops and tutorials. It provides exceptional value for students, academics and industry researchers.
