The Basque Scientific and Technological Consortium (BRTA) has awarded Damien Sallé in the act of recognition to researchers in Science, Technology and Economic Production.
BRTA has delivered last Wednesday 13th the first BRTA awards, given by the Councilor Arantxa Tapia and the Director of the BRTA Alliance, Rikardo Bueno, in a ceremony that took place in the Science and Technology Park of San Sebastian. These awards reward, value and stimulate the work of excellent researchers, with results that have been transferred to companies and therefore have had a positive impact on their competitiveness. BRTA has awarded, for the first time, these prizes to 3 researchers for their research career and to 3 other promising young researchers for their projection in research.

Our colleague Damien Sallé, from the area of Means of Production and Robotics, UO I&M, has received the award in the category RESEARCHER TRAJECTORY for his constant work in the area of Robotics. In this first edition, a total of 20 nominations were submitted for each of the categories, 14 of which were from TECNALIA colleagues: Damien Sallé, Alfredo Pacheco, Javier del Ser, Yolanda Belaustegui, Ander Ramos, Joshué Pérez and Yolanda de Miguel in the research career category; and Eneko Osaba, Cristina Regueiro, Eukene Imatz, Pablo Ortiz, Andrea Sarasola, Amaia González and Jon Mikel Sánchez in the research projection category.
