Abstract
A method and a system for producing hybrid composite parts, wherein a mould body (201, 300) is provided with a mould cavity that has at least one male and one female portion. In this cavity (204, 307), a fiber preform (215) is placed, being located in at least one area of the mould cavity (204, 307) and leaving free at least other area of the mould cavity (204, 307). This mould body (201, 300), also, is at the polymerization temperature of a reactive thermoplastic precursor. After placing the preform (215) into the mould cavity (204, 307), the mould body (201, 300) is closed. At this point, the reactive thermoplastic precursor is injected into the mould cavity (204, 307). When the mould cavity (204, 307) is completely filled and the reactive thermoplastic precursor polymerized, the resulting hybrid composite part (400) is demoulded.
