Abstract

The present invention relates to a non-isocyanate polyurethane (NIPU) obtained from a diamine and an isosorbide bis(alkylcarbonate). The present invention also relates to an adhesive binder obtained from reacting said NIPU described herein with an acrylic monomer. The invention also relates to a method of preparation the NIPU and to a method for the preparation of the adhesive binder. Adhesive binders according to the invention may be used in wide range of adhesive formulations depending of the application of choice.
