Abstract

The utilization of Liquicoat® solutions for the fabrication of pH optical fiber sensor was discussed. These sensors were found to work in the whole acid range (pH 1 to 6) with a response time of less than 90 s with stability and repeatibility. The analysis suggested the usefulness of Liquicoat® coatings for the fabrication of optical fiber sensors for the measurement of chemical parameters.
