Abstract

Remote assistance and health management are very important aspects in the EU funded AHEAD project. The AHEAD project aims on the combination and integration of innovative sensing devices already used by the elderly in their daily life (eyeglasses and hearing aid) with the Information and communications technology based modules in order to build a completely innovative remote monitoring product and services. This paper presents and discusses the data modelling, platform and services development, system integration and architecture out of technical perspectives.
