Abstract
A Questionnaire of Impact Events has been applied to a group of young people. Main purpose was to explore the sequence of aversive events, ways of coping with them and consequences. Analysis of results shows that not every way of coping is adaptative. Some of them are disfunctional. On the other hand, the different instances of mentioned sequence have appeared related with personal well-being. Hence a possible model of the relationships between personality factors and the process of coping is postulated.
