Abstract

Peer-to-peer (P2P) local energy market (LEM) is gaining attention as a new energy sharing model at energy communities' level. In this scenario, distributed energy resources (DERs) play a main role. Thus, massive DERs integration is foreseen in low voltage (LV) grid, which can originate stability problems in the energy community's energy distribution networks. That is why, the level of penetration of DERs in P2P markets must be considered. To face this issue, the paper presents a methodology where the penetration level of DERs is predicted and curtailed in P2P market scenario for ensuring LV grid stability. It is obtained that grid issues are fixed and that prediction errors introduce 3.7 % variation in both economic and energetic terms. These errors are translated to the P2P trading inside the community, where 3.7% less energy is exchanged than could be traded if there were no errors in the prediction.
