N2 - In spite of the increasing usage of the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in the Construction world, one of the main current challenges is to obtain the interoperability of the different applications used throughout the entire life-cycle of a construction process. EIGAPEV Project is conceived in order to develop a system which integrates the design and management of the building process in a common framework, making use of the power that the interoperability provides. In addition, the system will be integrated in an existing ERP tool used by the professionals of the sector. The modules developed in this system include the direct importation of a CAD 3D design in a budgeting utility, the integration with the scheduling module, being able to simulate and analyse the evolution of the building process and an automatic code-checking module for a local regulation on social houses in the Basque Country.
