Abstract

In this paper we propose an Energy Management System for the efficient use of the power generated by a Smart Home and the power consumed by the building's electric appliances. An overall system description, from software protocol to employed hardware is presented. Simulation results are presented in order to show the viability in the application of the proposed Energy Management System.
