Abstract

This paper shows a Fault Anticipation Software System (FASS) architecture, for diagnosis and prognosis purposes, in order to be implemented in a FASS unit, that nowadays, is a necessary tool to diagnose aircraft Electro Mechanical Actuators which are been implemented in order to face up to "More Electric Aircraft" (MEA) technologies. This work shows the requirements in a FAS system, and a fault diagnosis and prognosis structure purposed to solve this challenge.
