Abstract

Nowadays, University is one of the places where is possible to link the competitive business world and the challenges that Society is concerned about. In this paper, a concrete example is proposed in order to show how technology can be used to look for solutions to environmental Society concerns. University should not only deal theoretical research, it must develop real-world products to fulfil Society requirements. That is the way how University could be understood as an active part of Society.
