N2 - This article describes certain fundamental aspects of INTERGRAM our methodology for the design of interactive applications. The action order, phrases, and formal models used in each phase are described and illustrated with design examples. This methodology is provided with a tool that aids performance depending on the steps described in INTERGRAM. Its potential lies, partially, in the use of hidden interface engineering methods and models through a high level description in the Intergram tool. It also eliminates explicit annotation by the designer of concepts of engineering models. And on the other hand, in guided and automated performance, depending on the methodology that we describe. As a result of using this INTERGRAM methodology support tool, interfaces will be more usable, accessible and relevant to the type of user for whom they are aimed.
